Your Behavioral Style is Showing

Behavioral styles represent the drive / enthusiasm people
have for how they do activities and interact with others. People are born with
a genetic behavioral style, and over time, they develop a second one called an
image style.
The image style changes to
meet the perceived needs a person believes he/she needs to fit in with chosen
groups, other individuals, love relationships, work relationships and so on.
Often the image behavioral style takes the person away from their true self and creates confusion, unrest, and a sense of being out of step with what they are being called to be which is coming from their genetic style, which does not change.
Normally, the image style is used at the beginning of the
day, the start of a conversation, the opening of a sales or meeting
presentation. It is the style people think is expected of them, which can come
from how they perceive other people are influencing others.
The genetic style is usually used when people are under pressure, they are tired, and at the end of their day. In some cases, the difference between these two behavioral styles can be significant and create considerable confusion when relating with loved ones and work associates.
People need to be true to themselves so they can take full
advantage of the many gifts they have been given in their genetic style.
People often make career changes that surprise friends because over time they come to realize that using their image behavior does not produce the benefits to them that they receive when they use their genetic behavior style.
