Personal Talent Needed for a Position

Recently I asked two hiring managers in different phone calls, how the new hires were working out.  Both of them said very well, better than expected. These comments are not unusual for the placements I have made using Talent Management Plus candidate pre-screening solutions.

It is not uncommon for hiring managers to hire a resume and then (after a very long time) terminate because of behaviors.  Personal talents come from many sources, education, life experiences, culture, and the gifts parents provide each of us.  People do best those things that produce an emotional reward for them.  These rewards change during the course of our lives.

When people determine the type of work they want to do, it usually is the result of some bad job selections and or very poor management of their human resources by themselves and the managers they have worked for. At some point the person who wants to succeed will determine the best course of action for them and search for the position that is right for them.

When we benchmark a position we have company stakeholders complete the process because they know the culture of the organization.  It is the culture that needs to be identified so when pre-screening candidates or incumbents for a new position we can determine if they have the personal talents needed for the position, and if they will fit the culture of the organization.

The reason that 96% of the people we have recommended hit the floor running doing more than expected is because we accurately identify which candidate is the best fit for the position and company.
