The part of benchmarking I find the most useful is the ability to compare the applicant's assessment responses to our benchmark priorities for the position. While the benchmark report provides a set of interview questions which are helpful, people can say anything in an interview. The reports however, give an objective way of evaluating a candidate's "fit" to the position requirements.

It has been a year since we began working with your firm. I must say my company has made a very big improvement in hiring the right people for the job. John, the training that you have given my management team and me has increased our odds dramatically to having the right people in the right jobs. When I approached you for help last year, I was extremely frustrated with our inability to turn around a continuing problem of high turnover and poor productivity on our night shift.
